Mark Lajambe

Throughout his over 20 years as a financial advisor offering independent financial advice, Mark has built his practice around the knowledge that no two financial situations are alike. He enjoys taking the time to get to know his clients and seeing how each piece of their financial and personal puzzles best fits with the next - helping his clients with lifestyle planning for today while also identifying important goals for the future. Mark strives to find the best overall solutions for his clients.

In his hometown of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, prior to transitioning his focus full time to financial services, Mark used his U.S. undergraduate business degree and Masters of Business Administration degree to help grow the Lajambe Family natural resources businesses, providing him with a thorough understanding of the Canadian business/financial services sector.

As a member of Advocis, The Financial Advisors Association of Canada, Mark was selected in 2004 as one of the top ten advisors across Canada in the Advisor of the Year awards for his estate planning expertise. In 2008, Mark has also qualified as one of the top 1% of financial advisors worldwide through the international MDRT organization.

Mark feels he is fortunate to be working in the field that he is in as well as for his success and because of this, is very dedicated to giving back. In addition to contributing 10% of profits back to the community, he has given of his time to multiple charities by sitting on various boards and committees in the past: Sault Area Hospitals, The United Way of Sault Ste. Marie, The Sault Ste. Marie Forestry Capital of Canada Committee, The United Way Community Endowment Fund (past chair), Algoma University Foundation (past Chair), and Algoma University Dinner Committee.

Outside the office, Mark enjoys his three R's – reading, renovating, and reclining at his cottage. He and Kathy have an active family life with seven children and nine grandchildren, who keep them on their toes.

Christina Pellerin

Christina joined our team in 2011, she was already licensed and had been working in the life/group insurance fields. With her strong personal commitment to ongoing education and professional development, Christina also pursued her Mutual Funds license in 2018 and has become a licensed financial advisor. She is able to maintain knowledge and skills at the top level serving clients with the most current tools and methods. Being part of an independent brokerage that is not tied to any one specific insurance or investment company, allows her the valued opportunity to give our clients the best possible market solutions to fit their needs.

Christina's top priority is to build long term relationships with our clients. She feels it is essential to sit down with clients and chat about where they have been, where they are now, and what their future goals, values, and objectives are before she can offer any solutions. Clients appreciate Christina's approachable and compassionate personality. Christina's broad licensing allows her to focus on Group Benefits, Life Insurance, Living Benefits, and Medical/Dental Insurance as well as investment solutions ranging from Mutual Funds to Segregated Funds. Having access to such a broad range of insurance and investment choices, Christina is able to put together the best combination of products and services for our clients.

Christina was raised in Sturgeon Falls and moved to Sault Ste. Marie in 2011 where she began to plant her roots with her husband and two children. Now living in Echo Bay, she enjoys the simplicity and quietness of country living. She also enjoys home improvements, camping, cooking, and hosting family and friends.

Megan Holder

Investment Funds Advisor

Megan joined our team in 2019, bringing with her experience in both the health care and family business sectors. She worked in and helped run a family business for over 15 years. This experience has been unmatched within our organization. Working in a dental office has given her an insight at the grass roots level of how our group clients interact with those practitioners and brought us insight into how that frontline piece fits into our group plans. Her interest in investing and personal finance led her to associate with Lajambe Financial. Starting as an account executive, committed to continuing to learn the most she can about the industry she obtained her life insurance license in 2021 and then her mutual fund license in 2022, making her a financial advisor. She is eager to learn something new every day in this ever changing industry.

Megan works to ensure that every client receives personalized advice and excellent service. She supports the financial goals of the organization by providing the effectiveness of the day-to-day relationships with the clients. Megan is a professional and trustworthy individual who is dedicated to understanding the goals and objectives of her clients and supporting their financial success.

Megan was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, with strong family values. She enjoys spending time with her family and staying busy doing a variety of outdoor activities, such as boating, ATVing, and camping.

Kathryn Jones

Associate

Kathryn joined our team in 2021. She comes to us with 15 years in customer relations, business operations, and experience in the Health Care sector. She is certified in Health Information Management and received her Business Accounting diploma in 2022. Kathryn looks forward to expanding her career in the financial industry, and she plans to pursue a Mutual Fund license in the near future.

She is committed to providing impeccable, confidential, personalized service to our clients.

Kathryn was raised in White River, moved to Sault Ste Marie in 1999, where she has been raising her 2 children. She enjoys travelling, fishing, the great outdoors, and has a love for classic cars.

Lee Ann Bagg

Associate

LeeAnn joined our team in 2023, bringing over 10 years of experience in office administration and management roles. LeeAnn has a proven track record of optimizing workflows and enhancing organizational efficiency. Using a high level of communication LeeAnn is able to coordinate between clients, advisors, and supplier companies to ensure the accuracy and quality of service our clients have come to expect.

LeeAnn recently moved back to her hometown of Sault Ste. Marie after spending the last 20 years outside of Kitchener/Waterloo with her husband and three daughters. She enjoys hiking, camping, spending time with family and friends, and relaxing with a book in between everything else.
